Packaging Requirements (Sellers)
  • Use sturdy, corrugated cardboard or rigid packaging — no loose plastic bags for shipments above 500g
  • Fragile items (electronics, glassware, ceramics) must be bubble-wrapped, marked "FRAGILE — HANDLE WITH CARE", and double-boxed
  • Food products must be sealed airtight, labelled with NAFDAC number, best-before date, and ingredients list
  • Pharmaceuticals must be packaged per PCN/NAFDAC cold-chain requirements where applicable; include a packing slip with product name and dosage
  • Liquids must be in leak-proof containers, sealed with tape, and packed in a secondary waterproof bag
  • Include the buyer's full delivery address clearly printed or written on the outer parcel — not just on a slip inside
  • Include your return address (business name, address, phone) on the parcel
  • Do not pack multiple separate orders in one parcel without Indosabest approval
What Happens if Delivery Fails
  • NIPOST will make up to 3 delivery attempts before holding the parcel at the nearest post office
  • Buyer receives an SMS notification to collect from the post office — within 10 business days before it is returned to sender
  • If the delivery failed due to an incorrect address provided by the buyer: buyer bears re-delivery cost; no automatic refund
  • If delivery failed due to seller error (wrong address on parcel, wrong item dispatched): buyer receives a full refund to wallet
  • If the parcel is lost in transit: Indosabest opens an investigation with NIPOST. If loss is confirmed, buyer is fully refunded and seller may claim via NIPOST insurance
  • Always contact support at support@indosabest.com if your parcel hasn't moved in 5 business days
Seller Shipping Rules
  • Ship only via NIPOST — any other courier voids escrow release
  • Upload the NIPOST tracking number within 48 hours of the order — no exceptions
  • The tracking number must be valid and scannable — uploading a fake or incorrect number is a permanent ban offence
  • Sellers must ship from their verified business location on file — not from a different address
  • For perishable food or temperature-sensitive goods: use appropriate cold-chain packaging and ship same day or next morning
  • Attach a packing slip inside each parcel with order ID, item name, quantity, and seller contact
  • Retain the NIPOST receipt/waybill until the buyer's 48-hour inspection window closes
Frequently Asked Questions
Browse products, click a listing, and tap Buy Now. Enter your delivery address, confirm the quantity, review the total, and complete payment via your wallet. Funds are held in escrow immediately — the seller is notified and must ship within 48 hours.
Yes — you can cancel a Pending order (before the seller ships) from your My Orders page. Once the seller uploads a tracking number, cancellation is no longer possible. A full refund is credited to your wallet within 24 hours of cancellation.
If the seller does not upload a valid NIPOST tracking number within 48 hours, Indosabest will automatically cancel the order and issue a full refund to your wallet. The seller is penalised under our performance policy. You will be notified by email and SMS.
When you place an order, payment is deducted from your wallet and held securely in Indosabest's escrow account. It is not paid to the seller until NIPOST confirms delivery via our Aftership integration. This protects you — if the item never arrives, your money is safe and refundable.
Go to your Wallet page (tap the wallet icon in the header) and click Add Money. Copy your account number and send the money into it, Top-ups reflect in your balance instantly upon payment confirmation.
Sellers receive payment to their Indosabest wallet immediately after NIPOST delivery is confirmed via the Aftership API. From their wallet, sellers can withdraw to their registered bank account — typically within 1–3 business days depending on their bank.
Go to product details, find the report button, and tap it. If the item is wrong, damaged, or never arrived, use the dispute button within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. Give us a clear description. Our team will review within 5 business days and issue a binding decision.
Yes. If the seller fails to ship, ships with an invalid tracking number, or NIPOST confirms a failed delivery not caused by the buyer (e.g., wrong address on seller's part), you will receive a full refund to your wallet. Ensure your delivery address is correct when placing the order.
All sellers must provide: CAC Certificate, BVN, TIN, a valid Government-issued ID, proof of business address, and bank account details. Companies must also submit a Board Resolution, CAC Form CO2, CO7, and MEMART. Food, pharma, and agricultural sellers need additional sector licences. See our Terms of Service for the full list.
Our compliance team reviews seller applications within 3–5 business days of receiving all required documents. Incomplete submissions will be returned for correction. You will receive an email when your account is approved or if additional information is needed.
Yes — every packaged food, food supplement, or beverage product listed on the marketplace must have a valid NAFDAC registration number, displayed on the product listing and on the physical packaging. Products without NAFDAC registration will be delisted and the seller account may be suspended. Contact compliance@indosabest.com with questions.
No. All shipments on Indosabest must be sent via NIPOST. This is because our escrow release system is integrated with NIPOST's tracking API through Aftership. Using an unauthorised courier means the escrow will not be automatically released and the seller will not receive payment.
Tracking updates can take up to 24 hours to appear after a parcel is lodged. If there are no updates after 48 hours of the seller's ship date, contact us at support@indosabest.com with your order reference number. We will investigate with seller directly.
On the Sign In page, click Forgot Password? and enter your registered email address. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support@indosabest.com.
No — one Indosabest account cannnot operate as both a buyer and a seller. After your seller verification is approved, your dashboard will not show both buyer (My Orders) and seller (Manage Listings, Seller Analytics) sections. You need to create a separate account.
To close your account, email support@indosabest.com with your username and the subject line "Account Closure Request". Any pending orders must be completed or cancelled first. Remaining wallet balance will be refunded to your registered bank account within 10 business days. Note that some data is retained as required by Nigerian law.
